AIR CONDITIONER MAINTENANCE

A split system air conditioner requires ongoing maintenance to ensure that all components are performing to maximum performance.

 

An air conditioner that is regularly serviced and maintained will be more energy efficient and also be covered by the manufacturers' warranty. A poorly maintained air conditioner will be inefficient, dirty and not covered by a manufacturer warranty.

 

Regular and ongoing maintenance of your split system also gives you the piece of mind of knowing that your air conditioner can be relied upon and will constantly work at its optimum capacity.

 

To ensure your air conditioner is running at it's highest performance and to ensure you satisfy warranty conditions, manufacturers advise that maintenance is carried out regularly. 

Maintenance Schedule Includes:

 

  • Fully clean and deodorize filters and indoor housing

  • Check supply and return air temperatures

  • Clean indoor coils

  • Check evaporator drain

  • Calibrate remote control

  • Inspect outdoor coil/clean

  • Tighten electrical connections

  • Check pipe insulation - replace if necessary

  • Check refrigerant level

A standard service call and scheduled maintenance service is $154 inc. If you choose a scheduled maintenance Compton Refrigeration will save you 40%. -  each service will cost $90 inc.
